Math REU Sites

This page contains a listing of the Research Experience for Undergraduates (REUs) aimed at mathematics students that will run in the summer of 2018. This list will continue to grow as more sites announce their programs. Please keep visiting for up to date information.

In addition there are many REU sites which are related to mathematics (i.e., use mathematics in various applications) which can be found on another page.

Much of this information overlaps with what can also be found at the NSF maintained list of REU sites and the AMS list or REU summer programs.

This site was previously located at https://sites.google.com/site/mathreuprograms, information about REUs that ran during 2015 through 2017 is archived at that site.

Please send any additions or corrections to contact@MathREUPrograms.org.

Starting in Fall 2018 Iowa State University will have a postbac program. This is a one year program (not an REU) that helps people who have earned a Bachelor’s degree with the transition to PhD programs in mathematics. Underrepresented minorities, women, veterans, and nontraditional students who want to go back to school are encouraged to apply.
